Messi’s new military hairstyle after season’s first haircut!

Lionel Messi new hairstyle imitates a military haircut

Over the summer Leo Messi decided to change his hairstyle to a military haircut. Messi has been known for his long hair up until 2009 and then a short discreet hairstyle. Unlike Cristiano Ronaldo who is always wearing the latest hairstyles and haircuts, Leo Messi has preferred to keep his fashion style to himself and not look like a nacissist. Although Leo Messi did wear a very ugly suit for his 4th Ballon d’Or trophy!

Here are two pictures of Leo Messi’s military haircut. For those of you Messi fans like myself, seeing Messi with a new haircut or hairstyle is like seeing a pig fly, so here are two pics of Messi’s new hairstyle!

Manchester United and their low era

Manchester United, what happened to you?

manchester united teamManchester United was once a club that was a candidate for all titles and trophies. In fact those men who were fans of Manchester United were called “glories”, in reference to the glory hunting era of Manchester United in the 1990s. David Beckham and Ryan Giggs were at Manchester United and killing it, but Manchester United lost its proverbial power in the mid-2000s. By 2014 the team was and is a piece of crap.

Will a new coach be able to fix Manchester United? I seriously have no clue. Do they need extra players in the team? Well, it is my opinion that they do need to rejuvenate the team and that they need to bring players from outside the club. The youth teams at Manchester United haven’t been producing much talent for the last 10 years and they really continue to look like they will not be producing much talent for the next couple of years.

Whatever happens with Manchester United, rest assured that I will be keeping an eye here!

Alexis Sanchez, what a player!

Pure Chilean talent: Alexis Sanchez

alexis sanchezChile doesn’t have the brand name of neighbor countries Brazil and Argentina, but Chile has been producing great football players for decades who have preferred to keep a low profile compared to their Brazilian and Argentinian fellows. Alexis Sanchez is one of those low profile players who has as much talent in his books as the top football players in each of the European leagues, not to mention South American leagues.

Despite not being a tall player, Alexis Sanchez is known for his power and strength, having squatted 170 kilograms himself — imagine the power! To put it in perspective, Alexis Sanchez is about as tall as Leo Messi. Sanchez also has a great dribble and is very technical, preferring control and intelligent dribbling to speed and rawness. While he can play as a number 9 forward, Sanchez does better when he plays as a second forward in either side of the field, similar to Messi, actually.

With Chile, Alexis Sanchez is a solid option and him and Arturo Vidal form an excellent attacking duo. Arturo Vidal plays as a midfielder while Alexis Sanchez as a forward, so they make the perfect attacking connection in the same way that Xavi and Iniesta connected in Spain and FC Barcelona.

Alexis Sanchez will be giving us all plenty of entertaining moments, whether at Chile’s national team or at whichever club team he plays for!

Real Madrid is now one established team

Real Madrid looking like a candidate for both Leagues

Has you told me for the 2013/2014 Spanish League that Real Madrid would end first or second, I would have laughed in your face. Mourinho left the club in a bad state of affairs and it was Carlo Ancelotti’s turn to make something out of the team. Surely, Ancelotti didit magnificently during the 2013/2014 course, but it sure was unexpected — considering that they won a UEFA Champions League.

In this 2014/2015 Spanish league title, Real Madrid is now a serious candidate to win the league but so is Atletico de Madrid and FC Barcelona. This could not be a more heated league as far as European football leagues go, and I’d go as far as to say that whoever wins the Spanish league title will also win the 2014/2015 UEFA Champions League title!
